Hello, Today I am sharing " How To upgrade ROM ( Lollipop 5.1 ) for Galaxy S2 ( i9100g) " :-

As I already shared how to root your "Samsung Galaxy s2 ( i9100g )". Now sharing ROM for your phone,

What changes will new ROM bring with it...

1. It will enhance phone speed by 15% ( Depending on your model. )
2. It will bring a handy UI which is enhanced as well.
3. You can download custom themes and can make your phone more interesting.
4. You will experience a new era of Android, by upgrading it to Lollipop ( 5.1 ).
5. Some of the Applications which were not Compatible with your phone, will be available to use.

How To Flash ROMs Manually :-

So let's get started... Before anything. You need to root your phone. ( I have made a tutorial in previous post. ) for custom ROMs.

1) First of all download all three elements ( ROM , GApps , Recovery ) respectively. Link above. And make a complete backup of your Phone. You can download ROM manager app or Nandroid backup from playstore, So incase you end-up bricking your phone there'll a chance to restore it.

2) Now, You need Odin tool to Flash the recovery first, ( I have shown you how to root with Odin, same process will happen here. ) after that select the PDA and select the recovery you downloaded. ( Remember your phone should be in Recovery Mode as shown in the figure. )

3) After successfully booting into Download Mode, Open Odin.exe and then connect your phone while in download mode. In odin there will be a " Added sign " ( as shown in figure. ). Click on second option on the right side to and select your Recovery that you have downloaded. ( You need to click on AF/PDA ) and make sure other options are set as default.

4) After successfully flashing the Recovery, Disconnect your phone and boot into Recovery mode. After booting into recovery mode you'll be in the custom recovery that you have flashed through odin. Now Clear dalvik/cache/memory and  after that go to apply update from SD card. navigate to your ROM that you have downloaded and Flash it. ( It may take time, So be patient. ). After flashing the ROM , Now flash the Gapps without rebooting the phone. same process will apply here.

NOTE :-

First boot will take longer than usual so be patient. It will load all the apps and UI, Once it load all the things. You will be welcomed to the new Era of android. Good Luck.
